Our companies Since the 1600s Caiafa is one of the most renowned family of the artistic scene in the city of Naples. Known for their long-standing tradition of carvers, the Caiafa had its highest splendour in the 20th under the wise hands of Raffaele Caiafa who reunited many illustrious Art Masters and Neapolitan craftsmanship. To this day, the tradition has been passed on with utmost passion by Giuseppe Caiafa whom establish the Studio in Posillipo, one of the most enchanting place of Naples. Caiafa is also synonymous of quality with their exclusive Capodimonte porcelains. DBF since 1979, proposes and re-interprets some of the most fascinating styles from the past, designing and producing personalized furnishing ranging from kitchens to woodwork, from furniture for both the night and day areas to fitted wardrobes and accessories, from living rooms to interior doors. They are pieces of furniture created by DBF’s master cabinet-makers who, with their manual and artistic ability, are the true expression of “Made in Italy”; the entire productive cycle is carried out within the company and this assures careful controls throughout all the phases of production, so guaranteeing a continual high-quality. This is the “casting”, a very magic moment when the sculpture, keeping up the oldest tradition, takes shape; a tradition that - almost on the quiet - fearing that the wind blows these precious secrets away like formulas of magic potions, has been passed down step by step through the generations by our foundry. Since 1970, in the forges of Ruocco artistic foundry, we have been creating items outwardly inanimate; we are able to get from the raw material its most sublime and noblest part, that is the one capable of arousing good feelings, harmoniously and refinedly.
