ALSAPAN (Furniture, Flooring, Worktops) was founded in 1972 and is the third-largest flat-packed furniture manufacturer in France. The company has annual production of some 4.5 million piecesof furniture, 1.5 million worktops, and 15 Million square meters of laminate flooring in its 5production sites. ALSAPAN has an ongoing capital investment program designed to meet marketrequirements associated with the continuous upgrading of its industrial processes. The company hasalways sought to drive and improve its production capacities and skills, and has frequently led thefield in the use of new technologies.ALSAPAN joined the EPI group in 2007, and the company has a sound financial base which providesthe guarantee for its future. Driven by a commercial, social and environmental ethic, ALSAPAN’sbusiness is based on eco-friendly principles applied throughout the design and manufacturing process.Long experience and different partnerships set up with international customers have allowed ALSAPANto build up an industry-leading manufacturing expertise which has led to the company developinginnovative techniques in its 4 production facilities:• Panel wrapping of furniture parts: ALSAPAN has 2 panel-wrapping production lines and is the onlyFrench manufacturer to have this resource and technology which it developed in 1994.• Laminate panel pressing.• Finish foil furniture.• An exclusive process for glueing edgebands.• Direct pressure lamination of worktops - a process unique in Europe developed by ALSAPAN for itsWasselonne facility. ALSAPAN’s membership of the EPI Group has allowed it to carry out a €25 millioncapital expenditure program over the last 4 years. There are 5 production facilities with a total surfacearea of over 155,000 m² dedicated to the production of specific products.
